Report: Former Sioux Falls Skyforce Coach Dave Joerger to be New Memphis Grizzlies Coach

Former Sioux Falls Skyforce head coach Dave Joerger has agreed in principle to become the new head coach of the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, according to ESPN.com.

Joerger, a Staples, Minnesota native, takes over for Lionel Hollins, who asked out of his contract to look for other coaching jobs.

Joerger spent the last six seasons on the Grizzlies’ bench as an assistant coach.

He coached the Skyforce to the CBA title in 2005.
