Meteorologist Brad Teameyer of the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says Sioux City, Iowa and Vermillion got the brunt of Tuesday's snow storm.

"In Vermillion we saw 17 inches of snow. In Sioux City, over 12 inches of snow were recorded. That's one of the highest daily totals of snow that Sioux City has seen on record. No doubt about it! This winter storm was really significant for the region."

Teameyer says Sioux Falls received 4.3 inches of snow.
