Rascal Flatts have selected "Back to Us" -- the title track of their newest studio album -- as their next single. Readers can press play below to hear the song.

Written by Cary Barlowe, David Hodges and Josh Thompson, “Back to Us” is about wanting to get back into the comforts of a happy relationship with someone you love and trust. In the chorus, Rascal Flatts sing, “I’m gonna run straight back to us, baby / No more same old someone else / Back to the one you used to love like crazy / Maybe you’ll save me from myself / When the sun comes around again / You won’t be waking up in a stranger’s bed.”

"Back to Us" is the second single from Rascal Flatts' album of the same name; it follows "Yours If You Want It," the record's debut single, which recently hit No. 1. The phrase "Back to Us," trio member Jay DeMarcus explains, perfectly describes the feelings the Flatts have about their new tunes.

“This time around, the three of us have been able to really focus and work together on what we want to say at this point in our careers,” Gary LeVox says. “We’ve all been so energized by the process of making this album, and we still have a lot more music to make …”

"Back to Us" will officially be going for adds at country radio beginning on Aug. 21.
