RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A Rapid City woman has claimed a $30,000 Powerball prize. South Dakota lottery officials say Mary Watson won the money in the May 20 drawing.

Watson matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball to win the $10,000 third prize, and an option purchased for an additional dollar tripled the prize. The odds of hitting the third prize in Powerball are 1 in about 649,000.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot is at $154 million for the Wednesday drawing.

Watson's winning ticket was purchased at a Big D Oil store in Rapid City. The store will receive a $3,000 bonus for the sale.
