Considering the latest tension among the police and the citizenry out in Rapid City, this incident turned out reasonably well.

A suspect was arrested after Rapid city police responded to a noise complaint.  Police spokesman Brendyn Medina said the incident happened early Saturday morning, when police encountered 24 year old Harold Dooley of Box Elder, who has warrants out for his arrest.

Dooley resisted initially by refusing to let police enter.  A judge then issued a search warrant for the apartment.  A K-9 unit was deployed which found Dooley hiding under a bed.  The suspect continued to resist even after the dog bit him.

Police officers finally resorted to the taser to subdue Dooley, then arrested him on three warrants, ingestion of a controlled substance and a probation violation.
