UPDATE 4:00 PM: The Lincoln County Sheriff announced that Blumer had been found. The press release reads as follows.

Ontibile S. Blumer, the missing person from Harrisburg has been located; the subject was located alive and is presently being evaluated by medical personnel.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our appreciation to all departments,agencies, and individuals as well as the media for their assistance and efforts which contributed to locating this individual.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating Ontibile S. Blumer. She is 51 years old and classified as a missing person.

According to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff on Friday afternoon, Blumer is an African American female, 5-10 and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She was last seen at approximately 5:00 PM on Thursday July 23rd leaving her residence in northeast Harrisburg, South Dakota.

At the time it is believed that she was wearing a wide brimmed light colored fabric hat with an ankle length dress with a leopard spot type of pattern and a purple colored waist length jacket.  It is believed that she was carrying a brownish colored purse or handbag over the shoulder, and possibly wearing eye glasses; no known vehicle involvement at this time.

Blumer may be suffering from a medical condition and may be disoriented. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of this missing subject or has any knowledge concerning Blumer is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 605.764.5651.
