Police: Washington High School Student Charged with Assault

Sioux Falls Police Captain Greg VandyKamp says an argument became physical between two 15-year-old male students at Washington High School.

"In that case, it involved two students at Washington High School. There was a disagreement in a classroom. Words were exchanged. One of the students actually physically picked up his desk and struck the other student with it."

VandyKamp says the offending student is charged with aggravated assault.
