Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says a man was beaten early Tuesday at Fifth Street and Marion Road.

"Police showed up and found him there. He had quite a few injuries and possibly a broken arm as well. He really did not want to give a lot of information to the officers. But, he did say he was beaten with a pipe. He gave us the name of a suspect. We were able to find that person. But, so far he are unable to tie that person to this crime. So a little bit of work on our end to do."

In another incident, Clemens says a girl stabbed her former boyfriend.

"He came up to his apartment building. He came up to talk to her. They started arguing. He went to try to grab the keys in the car. As soon as he reached into the car, she pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the arm. Right after that, he grabbed the keys and she took off on foot."

At this time, Sioux Falls police are trying to find the suspect.
