RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a minimum-security facility in Rapid City.

The South Dakota Department of Corrections says 20-year-old Francisco Bordier left the Rapid City Community Work Center after 9 p.m. Wednesday.

KELO-TV reports that Bordier is serving time for distributing and possessing a controlled substance.

Anyone who's aware of Bordier's whereabouts is asked to call the Rapid City Police Department.
