FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Police in Aberdeen say a suspect in a credit card skimming investigation used the information he obtained from the credit cards to make numerous purchases in Fargo, North Dakota.

The concealed skimming device was found Tuesday inside a gas pump at an Aberdeen convenience store.

Aberdeen Police Captain Eric Duven tells KFGO radio that the compromised accounts were used in Fargo on Sunday. He says investigators are still gathering details on the number of businesses that were affected.

Duven says anyone who used a card to purchase gas in Aberdeen in the past two weeks should check their accounts for suspicious transactions. Police say more than 30 credit card accounts were compromised.
