MARTY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities say the deadline for a plea agreement has been extended for a man accused of fatally shooting his uncle and wounding another relative on South Dakota's Yankton Indian Reservation.

Twenty-four-year-old Dancing Bull Fischer has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, assault with intent to commit murder and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

Fischer is accused of killing Tony Fischer Sr. and wounding Dominic Fischer at a trailer home near Marty on Nov. 27. The FBI says Dancing Bull Fischer allegedly used an assault rifle.

The Mitchell Daily Republic reports (http://bit.ly/19sHxRu) that the plea deadline originally set for earlier this week has been extended to July 2.

Fischer faces life in prison if convicted.
