There is no way you can say there’s nothing to do in town! There are so many activities coming up for the whole family this spring and summer season that you could wear yourself out just participating!

  • If you’re a puppy lover and you love getting together with other puppy lovers, Sioux Falls Parks & Rec Department has just the thing for you and your dog or dogs! Every  Thursday in April from 6:15 to 7:15 at Spencer Park, is Yappy Hour. Bring your dog to play and socialize with other pups and their owners. It is free and no registration is required, plus each week features a different dog-themed craft and/or treat for the pooches’ parents.
  • Have you heard about Pickleball? It is becoming a very popular sport across the country. It combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. It is a ton of fun as well as great exercise too. There will be a Pickleball Tourney on Saturday, April 26th at the Kenny Anderson Community Center at 3701 East Third Street from 9 am to 1 pm. For more info call 978-6924.

  • National “No Screen Week” is coming up May 5-11th and to prepare you, Kuehn Community Center has a special event where your kids can learn games and activities to get involved in instead of watching TV or using the computer during this special week. This is for kids ages 6 to 9, it is only $5 and you can register online here.
