Photographer Films Rare Northern Lights Over Chester, South Dakota

Thanks to a solar flare eruption over the weekend, South Dakota photographer Christian Begeman captured a rare sight of the northern lights over the Chester area early Tuesday morning. The beautiful West Church stands against the backdrop of the dazzling display as if from heaven itself.

This isn't the first time a photographer has been in place in the Chester area for the phenomenon known as the aurora borealis. In 2012, Youtube user MazdaSpeed3Ftw's channel posted a similar video of the dazzling lights over Brandt Lake, SD.
