Pet Rock Craft at Humboldt Library in Sioux Falls

Siouxland Libraries will sponsor a free Pet Rock Make-and-Take Craft for children on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Humboldt Branch.

Elementary school-aged children are invited to drop in between 10:30 a.m. and 12 noon to decorate a pet rock with craft supplies on hand at the library. Preschoolers may participate with parental assistance. Groups of ten or more should schedule a start time by calling 367-8710.

This free program is offered as part of Siouxland Libraries’ summer reading club, “Dig into Reading,” where children can earn a variety of prizes by keeping track of the time they spend reading. Reading logs are available on the library’s website, and at any Siouxland Libraries branch.
