Peanut Butter Pop Tarts? Yes, Please.
Does anyone remember Peanut Butter & Jelly Pop-Tarts? They were discontinued in 1986. Twenty-seven years later, Kellogg’s has re-invented them.
The Peanut Butter Pop-Tart (no jelly) has a crunchy peanut butter-flavored crust enveloping a filling made with real, creamy peanut butter and sprinkled in sugar crystals. Or, if you love chocolate with your peanut butter, you’ll want to choose the Frosted Chocolate Peanut Butter Pop-Tarts. These have a chocolate crust wrapped around the peanut butter filling and then topped with chocolate frosting.
I don’t think think this is what the doctor had in mind when she told me to “start eating breakfast.” Hey, at least it’s something! According to the package, it’s a good source of 6 vitamins and minerals. That was 6 more than I was getting in the morning…right?
To promote the new flavors, a toaster-shaped truck is touring the country to distribute the Pop-Tarts far and wide.
