Women's rights activists in Italy are upset that the town of Corinaldo has made hundreds of parking spaces for pregnant women and new moms. Supposedly they widened the streets to make it easier for moms-to-be to get in and out of the vehicle easier. The reason behind the move was in honor of “International Women’s Day ".

Some say the designated "mommy spots" (not daddy) reinforce women's role as the child-barer. And beyond this case, some women don't like them because "pregnancy is not a disability."
