SIOUX FALLS - The recent long weekend break from school may have some parents wondering what to do with the kids when school is dismissed for the summer.

The Sioux Falls Park and Rec department is here to help you with those decisions.
The Summer Activities Fair is this Sunday, February 24 from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

The Sioux Falls Park and Recreation department, along with dozens of non-profit organizations, will be on hand to give information on everything from camps, sports, arts and recreation.

Scott Juhnke, Recreation Project Coordinator said, “This is a one-stop shop for parents and their children. It’s free for the organizations and for the general public.”

The fair was created to pass the word about what fun activities are happening during the spring and summer in Sioux Falls.

Park and Rec officials are expecting up to 1,000 people to attend the fair. “This is a nice, convenient way to keep their kids busy in the summertime,” said Juhnke.
