Parakeet Turns Man Into Police

Police in Mexico say they arrested a drunk driver after he was ratted out by his pet bird.

Guillermo Reyes was stopped last week at an alcohol checkpoint in Mexico City.

That's when a little birdie told them to give Reyes a breathalyzer test, according to Spanish language newspaper El Universal.

'He's drunk, he's drunk,' said the parakeet turned stool pigeon.

Sure enough,the bird was right. Reyes failed the test and was hauled off to jail. The parakeet was turned over to animal control.
