Panel Weighs Minnehaha County Creek, Island Names

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota Board on Geographic Names meets this week to discuss two places in Minnehaha County.

Board members meet Thursday in Pierre. They plan to review comments on the proposed name of Annie Anderson Creek for an unnamed creek and also look at comments on proposed names for an unnamed island in the Big Sioux River near Dell Rapids.
