RAPID CITY - The Pennington County Sheriff's Office in western South Dakota is looking for suitable homes for 10 Spanish mustangs, the last of 69 horses that were seized earlier this month because they were being neglected.

The sheriff's office obtained a court order to release several horses that were boarded on the property to their owners and to transfer ownership of the remaining horses to new owners.

The 10 mustangs that remain include one stud and nine mares. They range in age from 2 to 5 and have not been handled much.
