Is there an anti-fish conspiracy in Sioux Falls? Probably not, but after Long John Silver's closed out of the blue last week, three sushi restaurants in Sioux Falls locked up Wednesday.

A couple were eating at the Tokyo restaurant downtown Wednesday when a couple came in and told them, and all the workers to get out. The Tokyo restaurant on South Louise Avenue also closed up as did the Fuji Sushi & Hibachi restaurant on 41st Street.

Owners of the buildings say that rent is paid up and there are no issues in that respect.

But Sioux Falls Police responded to four separate calls at the Tokyo restaurant downtown that started with missing money and escalated to an assault call. A husband and wife own the restaurant with another partner which is where the dispute lies. The partner also owns the Fuji Sushi in the Empire Mall, which remains open.

There's no word on whether the restaurants will re-open.
