Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says an online ad led to a prostitution arrest in the city.

"The Street Crimes Unit got a hold of one of the women and found they were both staying at a hotel in the south west part of Sioux Falls.  As they went there to meet them, the officers saw two women leaving the hotel.  These women roughly matched the pictures that were on the internet.  Within a short time, there was a traffic stop.  The driver had some warrants and the passenger was the one that had arranged it.  She was arrested for prostitution."

Clemens wasn't surprised one of the women is from Milwaukee.

"Milwaukee and Minneapolis are the two biggest areas that we see women outside of the Sioux Falls area. I don't know know why that's happening," said Clemens. "I suspect this is a way stop. People are coming here on their way to some other location. They're here in Sioux Falls for a day or two and advertise on the internet. Then they're on to their final destination."

Thirty-year-old Cathy Gonzalez was arrested for prostitution and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  Twenty-two-year-old Krista Kruckenberg of Sioux Falls was arrested on warrants.
