It's one of the best non-majors on the PGA Tour schedule each year, but there will be something missing at Bay Hill this week (March 16-19).

The Arnold Palmer Invitational, which has been played every year since 1979, will get underway this week without its namesake. Palmer passed away in September and is being remembered at the course he owned since 1974 with a pair of statues bearing his likeness and that legendary swing of his.

In this edition of 'Off The Tee' I talk with Joel Harrington from 4 Deep Golf blog about Bay Hill without Arnie and a lot more:

  • Adam Hadwin becomes the latest first time winner on tour with his victory at the Valspar Championship, but the final round was anything but a cakewalk for the Canadian.
  • We're just three weeks away from Augusta. What are the Masters odds of winning for the top players on tour?
  • New PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan is tired of losing TV ratings to the NFL, so he's decided some schedule changes are in order.
  • The USGA and Royal & Ancient Golf Club have pushed through some sweeping rules changes for the game. What effect, if any, will this have on the casual player?

Here's my conversation with Joel:
