Oak Ridge Boys Inducted Into The Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame

(AP) - Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys didn't want to be inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame alone, so the rest of the group was inducted too.

Allen is the only Texan, but the hall of fame proclaimed the rest of the group honorary Texans. Texas Governor Rick Perry also named Allen an honorary admiral in the Texas Navy.

Allen asked his wife and management to put together the hall of fame exhibit so it would be a surprise to him. He says he was "emotionally overcome" when he saw it.
