A trio of double-doubles earned Augustana forward Alex Feeney Player of the Week honors in the Northern Sun Conference.

Feeney averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds in three victories for the Vikings and upped her streak of double-doubles to four consecutive games. The senior forward tallied impressive shooting numbers in the three convincing victories for the Vikings. Feeney shot 55.8 percent from the field in the three games and finished the week 7-11 from behind the arc.

Feeney led the Vikings to a 73-50 win at No. 22 Wayne State with a 20 point, 10 rebound performance. To start the  weekend, the Bismarck native poured in 20 points and 11 rebounds in a win over U-Mary. Feeney closed her spectacular week with a 9-10 shooting performance, which included 4-4 from three and 4-4 from the free throw line, for 26 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Minot State. Feeney entered halftime with 20 points on perfect first half shooting (5-5 FG, 4-4 3FG, 4-4 FT). This was Feeney’s sixth double-double of the season, the 20th of her career.
