It sounds like a foreclosure gone bad. A Rosholt man has been arrested and accused of threatening or intimidating a judicial officer.

The State Attorney General's office says the charges against Eugene Herman Paulson, 77, stem from threats he allegedly made and documents he allegedly tried to file during the course of a foreclosure matter.

The charge of threatening or intimidating a judicial officer is a class 5 felony, which carries a maximum punishment of 5 years and/or a $10,000 fine for conviction.

Paulson also faces two misdemeanor charges, one of offering a false or forged instrument for filing, registering or recording, and the other for "uttering simulated process."
