If you have been a longtime gamer like myself, you probably spent hours upon hours playing the Super Nintendo gaming system. Released in 1990 the gaming counsel sold over 49 million unit worldwide. But like most of you, I no longer have that system but thanks to recent news, the old school system is coming back this fall.

According to Kotaku, "Nintendo today announced the Super Nintendo Classic, which will be out on September 29 for $80 and include 21 games including the previously unreleased Star Fox 2."  As for the other 20 games that come with the system, they are:

  • Contra III: The Alien Wars
  • Donkey Kong Country
  • EarthBound
  • Final Fantasy III
  • F-ZERO
  • Kirby Super Star
  • Kirby’s Dream Course
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Mega Man X
  • Secret of Mana
  • Star Fox
  • Star Fox 2
  • Street Fighter® II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
  • Super Castlevania IV
  • Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts
  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Metroid
  • Super Punch-Out!!

Each system comes with an HDMI cable, a charging cable, and two SNES controllers. So if you want to show the kids that you still got what it takes to get the top speed in F-Zero, here is your chance.
