Nine-year-old Tyler Carach of Pensacola, Florida has a simple goal!

Tyler's mom Sheena explains: "My son told me 'I'm going to thank every cop in America and buy them all a donut.' So we've been really busy for the past 14 months. This is state 26 or 27 he's been to. He's handed out 40,000 donuts so far."

Tyler says delivering donuts to law enforcement officers around the country is important to him.

"I'm here thanking police officers. I want to thank them because they risk their lives everyday."

Sioux Falls Police Chief Matt Burns says he is totally impressed with Tyler.

"This young man traveling halfway across the country from Florida to reach out and say thank you to law enforcement - it just swells us with pride. He's just an incredible young man."

Tyler and his mom are in Sioux Falls for several days delivering donuts to law enforcement officers in the area.

Mom Sheena say Hy-Vee donated 7,500 donuts for the project.

Aside from Sioux Falls, Tyler has visited police stations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio to name a few!
