I always thought B.J. Thomas had one of the great voices, not only in Country Music, but in so many different genre's.

He had Country Hits, Pop Hits, Rock Hits, Gospel Hits...he could truly do it all. And now, according to the Associated Press, Thomas is getting together with some of his friends for new duets of the old hits!

(AP) - B.J. Thomas has invited some of his friends to help him remake his songs.

Thomas will release an acoustic album of his hits called "The Living Room Sessions" in the spring. Vince Gill joins him on "I Just Can't Help Believing," and Lyle Lovett helps out on "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head."

He duets with Richard Marx on "(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song." Keb' Mo, Steve Tyrell and Isaac Slade of The Fray also appear on the album.

It's become something of a tradition, at least in Country Music, to get together with fellow singers and 're-imagine' hits from the past. This will be an intertesting one to hear.
