New Mount Rushmore Quarter to be Released

KEYSTONE, S.D. (AP) — The Shrine of Democracy will soon fit in your pocket. The new Mount Rushmore National Memorial quarter will be released Nov. 6 at a ceremony at the National Guard Armory in Custer.

Collectors will be able to swap cash for $10 rolls of the new quarter and buy uncirculated Mount Rushmore quarter sets.

It's the 20th coin in the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters Program that pays tribute to national parks and other national sites.
