The first ever indoor swimming lessons offered at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls will begin in January.

Indoor swimming lessons will kick off with a winter session offered January 16 through February 18, 2017, and a spring session offered March 6 through April 8, 2017.

According to a news release from the City of Sioux Falls, Recreation Manager Alicia Luther says, “We are so excited to be able to offer swimming lessons year-round for the first time."

She also told us,“Learning to swim not only allows a person to be safe in or near water, but also provides lifelong fitness opportunities, improves health, and helps people of all ages gain confidence and motivation.”
