Charles Kelley's debut solo album begins a busy month of new country music releases slated for February 2016. The Lady Antebellum singer says The Driver is personal, and it will inspire even better songs from his famous trio when they reunite later this year. Many of the other projects set for this month also rely on a spirit of reinvention.

Lorrie Morgan, Vince Gill and Wynonna Judd are three legends who will release new solo albums for the first time in years. Gill's Down to My Last Bad Habit comes on Feb. 12. Two days later Joey + Rory release an album of hymns. It's not clear if this will be the last album Joey Feek records, but it's obvious whatever music she has left is precious.

Sister Hazel cross from rock to country to release an album called Lighter in the Dark on Feb. 19. Meanwhile, Willie Nelson offers yet another chapter in his eclectic canon. Summertime: Willie Nelson Sings Gershwin drops on Feb. 26, as does Chuck Wicks' first album in eight years, Turning Point.

This list of new country music releases set for February 2016 could get bigger in the coming days and weeks. If that happens, we'll update.
