It was a half century or so ago that those of us on the planet first heard a song called 'Nashville Cats'. The folk/pop group The Lovin' Spoonful had a big hit with it, and in the years since it's been recorded by many of music's greatest artist's (I recall a great version by the Man In Black, Johnny Cash).

And now it's back.

A new artist named Tony Jackson has 'Nashville Cats' as his new single and it's a good 'un! And do you recognize those two fella's singing with Tony in the video above?

Yep, it's none other than Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill, and the man who wrote and sang the song 'back in the day', John Sebastian (lead singer of the Lovin' Spoonful). Oh, and steel guitar Hall of Famer Paul Franklin is also featured on the track.

Find out more about Tony by visiting his Facebook page. As for me, I can't wait to hear more from this artist who seems bent on 'keeping it country'.
