Want to relive the 70's? Strap on your white knee high boots. Dig out your plaid bell bottoms and platform shoes and leisure suit. And while you at it get a a giant boof hair perm.

The Cultural Heritage Center Open House will be held Friday (November 24) in Pierre.

There will be a new exhibit titled The Spirit of the 70's to showcase the people, fashion, cultural trends, news and issues that shaped our lives during that decade.

Many of us can relate to the Vietnam War. The Watergate scandal that led to President Richard Nixon's resignation. Locally we watched the devastation of the Rapid City flood. And South Dakota was represented by George McGovern running for President in 1972.

The Holiday Open House will include entertainment, treats for all and photos with Santa Claus. And while you're in Pierre remember to visit the State Capital to view the beautiful Christmas tree display.
