Eighteen-year-old John Swain was killed and dismembered last year, after recently moving to Bismarck, North Dakota from Sioux Falls.

Pat Swain called the murder of her son "senseless."

A jury found 20-year-old Joshua Clark guilty of conspiracy to commit murder last week in Bismarck. Authorities allege that Clark and 26-year-old Theo Crowe conspired to kill John Swain.

Crowe pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge and was sentenced in January to life in prison.

Sentencing is pending for Clark, who could be sentenced to life in prison.
