Until the year 1983, the world was unable to eat chicken wings. Well, people could - and more specifically - MEN could, but after the inception of the popular restaurant Hooters, the chicken wing (along with the view) gained huge popularity.

Yes, Hooters was considered controversial at the time, and many women may still feel a bit 'uneasy' sitting with the family while a woman in a tight, white tank-top and tiny, silky, orange shorts delivers a dozen bone-in wings to their husbands and other family members. But I'm glad to say that 'times have changed!'

Move over Hooters, a new restaurant opening in Dallas, Texas is about to make dining with the family a bit more enjoyable for MOM!

The new bar/restaurant Tallywackers will feature waiters wearing not much more than tight briefs. The menu will include hot dogs (of course!), pizza and pasta along with a selection of adult alcoholic beverages that can be enjoyed by the customers while enjoying live entertainment.

Of course the idea of Tallywackers came about when the founder was enjoying some wings at Hooters. After contemplating the question, "Why isn't there a male version of Hooters?", he quickly did the research and came up with what he thought would be the best place for the inaugural bar/restaurant.

After searching through the posts on the Tallywackers' Facebook page, women (and even some men) are all eager for the establishment to open. And even better yet, plenty of fine, upstanding gentlemen are eager to apply.

Ladies, in case you are wondering (and beginning to make plans to travel to Dallas, Texas), Tallywackers will be opening in May, 2015.  Yup! Just in time for Mother's Day!

Who needs a #WCW when you can enjoy the men of Tallywackers!! We'll take #WackyWednesday instead ;)
