Vintage Motorcycle enthusiasts from all across the world gathered in Atlantic City over the weekend to kick-start the Annual Motorcycle Cannonball Run across America.

The competition began Sunday and includes more than 100 bikers - 120 riders to be exact.

Biker Dean Bordigioni is one of those taking part, and says the vintage machines run like a dream.

"You only saw these things in a museum and now everybody wants to ride them because you kind of forgot that these things are made to be ridden, not sit in a museum."

It should be pointed out, the ride is not race. When you arrive at the final destination doesn't matter.

The run meanders through America's back roads, hitting 15 states, stretching 3,500 miles, and ending in Carlsbad, California.
