PIERRE - South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley will be distributing checks to two local organizations Wednesday as part of an estimated $7.8 million in loan relief from five U.S. banks.

The loan relief money is part of a $25 billion mortgage settlement negotiated last year over nationwide foreclosure abuses.

The distribution ceremony will take place at the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre at 8:30 a.m.

Also in attendance will be mark Lausing with the South Dakota Housing Development Authority and Dwight Neuharth with the South Dakota Home Builders Association.

The public is invited to attend.
