Who says you have to be married before you buy a house? Single women in the U.S. are currently buying more homes than their single male counterparts.
In fact, there’s been an upward trend in single female home purchasing since the mid ’90′s.
In 2012, single women accounted for 18% of house ownership, while single men only accounted for 10%.
