Eight states, seven days, 2,400 miles and 200 participants riding for charity.

Now in its 23rd year the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America will take riders through South Dakota and pass through one riders South Dakota home.

Brian Klock, owner of Mitchell’s Klock Werks, has been selected as the 23rd Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America “Angel Rider.” Nominated directly by former NASCAR driver and NBC racing analyst Kyle Petty, Brian has been awarded this special honor for his significant contribution to the local Mitchell community.

This May, on a custom-made motorcycle, Brian will join 200 bikers on the 2,400-mile cross-country trek.

The Ride Across America raises funds and awareness for Victory Junction – a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The Ride, one of the most popular and successful charity rides in the country, is led by Kyle Petty and features many other celebrity riders.

Every year, an Angel Rider is selected to participate in the Ride free of charge based on nominations received for an individual who is instrumental in their local community.
