Miranda Lambert previewed her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour with a set that will be tough to top when she hits the road in September. Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town was just one special guest, joining Lambert to sing an emotional version of “Girl Crush.”

LBT’s song closed a show which also featured the two joining forces to sing Lambert’s current single, “Smokin’ and Drinkin’.” Video from both performances can be found above. The acoustic set waded through the Texan’s entire discography. She didn’t play the hits necessarily, just the songs she was feeling on this night.

That included “Dear Diamond” — a song about a woman quietly regretting her decision to marry the man she’s holding — and “Virginia Bluebell,” a song she admitted she’d been singing a lot to herself lately.

“Carrying the weight on the end of a limb/ You’re just waitin’ for somebody to pick you up again/ Shaded by a tree/ Can't live up to a rose/ All you ever wanted was a silent place to grow.”

The Tennessean reports that Lambert sang along as songwriter Jessi Alexander performed Blake Shelton’s hit “Mine Would Be You,” another heartbreaker. Lambert and Shelton divorced just eight days earlier.

The night was full of love-gone-wrong songs, including “Whiskey Lullaby” and “White Liar.” Amongst the special guests were Ashley Monroe, Jon Randall, RaeLynn, Courtney Cole and Clare Dunn.

in addition to being a preview of her upcoming tour, Lambert’s show at 3rd and Lindsley was also a fundraiser for her newly created Miranda Lambert Women Creators Fund, a scholarship for one female Belmont University student pursuing a career in the music industry.
