Miranda Lambert got a little help from her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Anderson East, during a recent concert: On Wednesday night (Aug. 23) in London, England, the duo performed a stripped-down version of Lambert's song "Getaway Driver."

The moment came during Lambert's stop at London's Apollo Hammersmith; readers can press play above to watch a snippet of Lambert and East's duet, which the audience took in in reverent silence. East accompanied their perfect two-part harmonies on an acoustic guitar.

"London, England! Thank you so much. What an amazing night. And I got to sing a song with my 💗 @andersoneast," Lambert posted on Instagram following the event.

Lambert and East co-wrote "Getaway Driver" with Natalie Hemby for Lambert's The Weight of These Wings double album, released in 2016. The sentimental lyrics include, “So I keep the engine running / She’ll be my gasoline / She treats my heart like a stolen car / All the while she’s got the keys / Standing in the line of fire / I’ll be right beside her / I’m her getaway driver."

Lambert and East's London duet wasn't the first time the country superstar and her boyfriend have surprised audiences -- or, in the case of a show just before East's recent 30th birthday, each other -- with an impromptu appearance. At East's show on Valentine's Day of 2016, they covered Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby."
