The Minnesota Vikings have won the NFC North and will participate in the NFL Playoffs. We also now know who they will play in 2016.

In 2002, the NFL announced a schedule rotation that would guarantee teams to play each other every three years (in conference) or four years (out of conference). The remaining games are determined by the spot of the division a team has finished.

NFC North opponents will play against all teams in the NFC East and AFC South in 2016. Common opponents for the NFC North will be from the NFC West (home) and NFC West (away).

With the 1st place finish in the NFC North, the Vikings will play at home against Arizona and travel to Carolina (away). Green Bay gets Seattle (home) and Atlanta (away). Detroit's common opponents are St. Louis (home) and New Orleans (away). Finally, Chicago will play San Francisco at home and travel to Tampa Bay.

Minnesota will open US Bank Stadium next season with many great games. Dates for the games will be released around April.
