The Minnesota Twins moved from the Metrodome to Target Field three years ago, and now  TwinsFest is following suit.

The event was created in 1989 and housed at the Metrodome.  The Dome is in the process of being torn down to make room for the Minnesota Vikings new stadium.

In a press release, Twins president Dave St. Peter said:

Hosting this at our ballpark gives us a chance to reinvent this great event, providing creative new experiences for our fans in a smaller, more intimate setting.

And perhaps most importantly, the event again promises to raise significant proceeds for the Twins Community Fund and its many worthwhile programs.

Over the past 25 years TwinsFest has raised more than $4.2 million for programs and organizations supported by the Twins Community Fund.
