Merle Kilgore Tells A Story About The Legendary Faron Young

Merle Kilgore will always be known as the co-writer (along with June Carter) of the all-time classic ‘Ring Of Fire’, and as the writer of Claude King‘s great classic ‘Wolverton Mountain’.

He spent years with legend’s like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Junior.  He is one of the most respected names in Country Music history.

And who knew?  He also lived for a time with Country Music Hall of Famer Faron Young.  In this classic clip, he talks about Faron, the cook…great food, if you got home on time!
