PICKSTOWN, S.D. (AP) — Authorities believe a medical problem might have contributed to the death of a Wagner man who died after falling into the Missouri River while fishing.

The Charles Mix County Sheriff's Office says 71-year-old Robert Clemens was fishing from a dock near Pickstown with his brother on Tuesday afternoon when he fell into the water. Authorities recovered his body about half an hour later.

The sheriff's office has categorized the death as an accidental drowning and says the investigation is continuing.
