McDonald’s Testing New Chicken and Waffle Sandwich

The McDonald's breakfast menu may be expanding in the future. The company is currently testing a chicken and waffle sandwich at 11 of its Ohio restaurants.

The sandwich is basically a piece of fried chicken placed between two syrup-infused McGriddle buns. They call it the "Chicken McGriddle."

As of right now, the breakfast sandwich is only available at restaurants in central Ohio, and will remain on the menu through the month of March.

According to the Ohio McDonald's franchise owner who came up with the idea, his customers have been creating their own Chicken McGriddle for sometime now.

Whether the idea catches on and makes its way to this part of the country remains to be seen. We can only hope - YUMMERS!!!
