Massive 15th Street Makeover Tears Out Two Blocks of Street

Major reconstruction is not just for the outskirts of Sioux Falls as a Central area neighborhood will soon get a brand new surface. 

15th Street is now closed between First Avenue and Third Avenue.  This two block area will get a complete reconstruction of the street and utilities in the area.  Homeowners who have driveway access to 15th Street have to make different arrangements for about a month.

The north-south stretches of First, Second and Third Avenues will remain open to traffic, but may be closed intermittently to allow for crews to do utility and detail work.  Even on a rainy, soggy Monday this crew is determined to get some work done as they continue to remove debris between Second and Third Avenue.
