SIOUX FALLS – A South Dakota woman has been sentenced in federal court for dealing drugs near a school.

Forty-five-year-old Claudia Apple, of Martin, pleaded guilty in October to distribution of a controlled substance.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Viken sentenced Apple to one year in prison and six years of supervised release.
