Martin Truex, Jr. topped them all in 2017 in NASCAR. He captured the season championship with Sunday's win at Miami. He won the most races this year as well as led more laps in the season than anyone on the track.

It was a great season for Truex, as he topped the driver standings for most of the year. He won a series best eight races and topped all drivers on laps led with 2253.

Seventy eight of those laps came on Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Truex held off Kyle Busch for the race victory and the season title. Busch came as close as two car lengths at one point, but never got along side Truex.

Kyle Larson finished third, closely trailing the championship battle after moving past Kevin Harvick for third on Lap 252. Harvick came home fourth with some damage on the front of his car caused by debris.

Chase Elliott came in fifth. See where your driver finished.

The fourth of the title contenders not yet mentioned, is Brad Keselowski. He came in seventh. See final standings.

Sunday's race in Florida not only ends an exciting season for NASCAR, but also marked the final race for retiring Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
